We talked in last month’s newsletter about the power of t-shirts as marketing tools and our ultimate goal of making people’s’ favorite shirts. This month I’d like to focus in on a simple way to get your shirts worn more and get your message to more people’s eyeballs. Let’s talk about upgrading garments.

Our good friends at Melt Ice Creams came to us looking for new shirts for their staff and to sell in their shop. We pushed them strongly to use high quality garments. In Melt’s case it was only 75¢ more per shirt to upgrade to an excellent soft, comfortable poly-cotton tee from Bella + Canvas. Along with their awesome design and some beautiful yellow ink, we were able to create something that their team was excited to wear and their fans were pumped to own.

“Our team and our customers love how soft the shirts are and the fact that they don’t shrink!” – Kari Crowe Seher (owner)

Looking at an invoice total, cheap garments might seem like a good place to save some cash, but if you break it down to a per-shirt level, is saving 75¢ worth the cost to your exposure an uncomfortable, poorly fitting shirt might cause? If you think of your shirts as an investment in your brand instead of a one-time expense, the goal must be to create a shirt that will be someone’s first choice out of the closet. The best part about upgrading garments is that it doesn’t take any extra time or effort! All you have to do is let us know you’re looking to create people’s favorite shirts and we can help you find the perfect garment for your project.
