Trust + Fort Worth Stockyards

we had the awesome opportunity to take our live print set up to our ole’ stomping grounds – the Fort Worth Stockyards! We love any event that allows us to be out in our community, so when we were presented with the opportunity to live print shirts for White Elephant Saloon’s reenactment of the legendary 1887 gunfight between Luke Short and Jim Courtright – we quickly said yes.

Let’s Talk About Stealing Art

Stop Stealing Art

I’d like to spend a couple minutes talking about something that’s been on my mind a lot recently. It’s something we deal with a lot here at Trust, and it’s something I’ve seen a lot of people in our industry completely ignore: stealing artwork…

Trust Open House
Posted January 30th, 2018 by Hannah Lewis

If you have stopped by the shop recently, you might have noticed that we did some remodeling. As a way to celebrate & let everyone have a look-see, we opened our doors & threw Trust’s first ever Open House! Our shop was filled with family, friends (both old and new), and our amazing customers who had the opportunity to print their own shirt, take a tour of the shop, eat some delicious appetizers, stay hydrated with some NoCoast Beer and bottomless coffee from Coffee Experience, & snap a photo in front of our awesome live print backdrop!

Live Printing at Oh Sleeper Show
Posted January 12th, 2018 by Hannah Lewis

We had the special opportunity to end 2017 by Live Printing shirts for our friends, Oh Sleeper at their 10th anniversary show of “When I am God”. This was our second time to live print shirts at an Oh Sleeper show and it was a blast! It also just so happened to be the final show at The Door in Dallas, which made the night that much more special.

2017 Year in Review
Posted December 21st, 2017 by Jesse MacKenzie

It’s that time of year where we look back on 2017, celebrate what happened, and look to the new year expecting big things. Where 2016 brought lots of amazing new customers, 2017 was more about internal growth. 2017 brought new team members and transitions, new equipment, exciting print advancements, and a fun remodel to the shop.

What to Look for in a Screen Printer
Posted December 8th, 2017 by Jesse MacKenzie

Finding a screen printer for your custom shirts is easy, but finding the right printer can be very difficult. Shirts are an awesome marketing tool when made & utilized correctly. If you treat shirts like an investment instead of an expense, and if you treat your printer like a partner in business you can get more people wearing your shirts and spreading your message.

This month we did something really exciting as a team & headed off for a camping trip at Mineral Wells State Park for a couple days of relaxing & spending time together. Time outside of work is so valuable for growing a healthy, connected team and this trip was a fantastic opportunity to connect.

Film + Music Conference

Our good friends at Musicbed and Filmsupply license fantastic libraries of music and video respectively for creative projects. This year they put on their first annual Film + Music Conference right down the street and Trust was able to be a part of the amazing weekend by printing totes & live printing shirts for the event.

“Crafting from the Collection” – Live Printing at the Amon Carter Museum
Posted September 6th, 2017 by Jesse MacKenzie

We had the awesome opportunity to participate in the “Crafting from the Collection” event at the Amon Carter Museum. Jeremy, Hannah, and Jesse brought our live printing setup and demonstrated a short presentation on Trust and how screen printing works. We spent a couple hours printing and answering questions, and then everyone went home with something they created themselves. It truly was a great experience and was awesome to see everyone get so excited about something we do every day!

Guaranteed Quantities 2.0: Damages
Posted August 16th, 2017 by Jesse MacKenzie

This is a follow up to our Guaranteed Quantities blog post. Reading back through it, we realized that we’ve never formally or publicly dug into damages and explained what they are, how they happen, and how we handle them.

The reason Guaranteed Quantities is so important is because of damages; sometimes shirts don’t make it perfectly from the factory to your doorstep. We are still frustrated by damages, (and all of our printers are working hard to limit them as much as possible) but Guaranteed Quantities allows us to stay confident that our customers are getting what they ordered, and allows our customers to rest easy knowing their orders will never show up short, even if damages still happen.
